Today’s challenge is to tackle the closet. The goal is 25 items out of the closet. I have already paired down my wardrobe to only the things I absolutely love and wear on a regular basis. However, I had my 5th child in June of this year so I am not back down to my prepregnancy weight yet, only 10 pounds away, so I still cannot fit into all my “normal” clothes yet.
I found 18 items to donate to Goodwill; 2 pairs of shorts, 2 pairs of pants, 1 workout top, 1 workout bottoms, 1 zip up hoodie, 1 purse, 1 necklace, 2 pillowcases, 1 swimsuit coverup, and 6 shirts. Most are items I either love the style or color of but they just do not look that great on me. The workout outfit was uncomfortable and the purse isn’t my favorite anymore.
What did you find to get rid of in your closet? Was it more or less than the recommended 25 items?
