Day 5 covers the pantry and the kitchen cabinets. As I stated in my day 3 post, the kitchen is the one room in our house that I’m proactive at keeping the clutter out. So today’s challenge was hard because I already threw out expired food and only have in our pantry what I know we will eat. It is not organized the best as you can see in the picture above but it works for us. My kitchen cupboards are the same as well. I already got rid of things I didn’t use or love. I also tossed duplicates of items.
I did still find items to toss. I found some canned food that did not have dates on the lids, a lunch box my daughter no longer uses, junk food we are trying to cut out, and misc items that were expired, we didn’t use, or wouldn’t buy again. There is 26 items in total.
What did you find to toss? Was it more or less than 25?
Join me back here on Monday for Day 6 were I will tackle my kitchen drawers.
